Nitro Nails Package Protection Terms & Conditions
Nitro Nails offers optional Package Protection at checkout. Package Protection is an optional service that allows customers to insure their order against loss, theft, or damage during transit.
By purchasing Nitro Nails Package Protection, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Optional Service
Package Protection is not required to complete a purchase. Customers who decline Package Protection assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments once the package has been handed over to the shipping carrier.
If Package Protection is not selected at checkout, Nitro Nails is not liable for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged during transit.
2. Coverage
If Package Protection is purchased, Nitro Nails will provide assistance in resolving issues where the package is:
• Lost in transit (carrier confirms package was not delivered)
• Stolen after delivery (porch theft)
• Damaged during transit
Coverage applies only to the items included in the insured order.
If approved, Nitro Nails will issue one of the following at our discretion:
• Replacement shipment of the affected items
• Store credit equal to the value of the affected items
• Refund to the original payment method
Shipping insurance fees themselves are non-refundable.
3. Claim Requirements
To file a claim under Package Protection, customers must contact Nitro Nails support and provide required documentation.
Claims must include:
• Order number
• Description of the issue
• Photo evidence of damaged packages or products (if applicable)
• Photo of shipping box and shipping label (for damaged shipments)
• Confirmation that the shipping address provided at checkout was correct
Nitro Nails reserves the right to request additional documentation if necessary.
4. Claim Timeframes
Claims must be submitted within the following timeframes:
Lost Packages
Must be reported no earlier than 5 days and no later than 14 days after the expected delivery date.
Stolen Packages (Marked Delivered)
Must be reported within 7 days of the delivery date.
Damaged Packages
Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Claims submitted outside these windows may not be eligible for coverage.
5. Non-Covered Situations
Package Protection does not cover:
• Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer
• Packages returned to sender due to address issues or failed delivery attempts
• Orders where tracking shows delivery but no claim is filed within the required timeframe
• Minor cosmetic packaging damage that does not affect the usability of the product
• Orders that are reshipped or replaced by the carrier directly
• Delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other external factors
• Seized or rejected international shipments due to customs regulations
6. Investigation Process
Nitro Nails may investigate claims before approval. This may include:
• Verification of tracking information
• Carrier confirmation
• Delivery verification with the shipping provider
Providing false or misleading information during a claim may result in denial of the claim and restriction from future Package Protection coverage.
7. Replacement Limits
Each insured order is eligible for one replacement or refund resolution under Package Protection.
If a replacement shipment is issued, that shipment will not be eligible for additional Package Protection claims.
8. Fraud Prevention
Nitro Nails reserves the right to deny claims or refuse Package Protection coverage for customers who demonstrate repeated claim activity, suspected fraud, or abuse of the program.
9. Agreement to Terms
By selecting and purchasing Nitro Nails Package Protection at checkout, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Nitro Nails reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
